Wedding planning can be stressful. Fortunately, our experience as a wedding venue makes us more than qualified to help you turn your visions for the big day into reality.
Depending on what you want for your ceremony and reception, you may be better off with only one wedding venue. Continue reading to learn the benefits nobody told you of having one wedding venue.

Have you always dreamed of being married during an outdoor ceremony? If so, you may want to avoid a church wedding. Since churches and synagogues are considered sacred ground, you'll have to be married indoors.
Other wedding venues (like our romantic bed and breakfast) can give you more flexibility for where your ceremony and reception take place. If you're interested in outdoor wedding venues, make sure they have an indoor space in case it's rainy and/or cold.
It's difficult for guests to attend your wedding when the ceremony and reception are spaced several hours apart. Many of your guests might have to arrange for babysitters or travel long distances to attend your wedding, which is why it's more convenient to have your ceremony and reception at the same venue.
You'll have a higher turnout when you aren't forcing guests to choose whether they'd rather attend your ceremony or reception. Many people only go to the reception venue if it's too much of a hassle to attend both events.
Do you have guests coming from out of town? If so, you'll want to put yourself in their shoes for how they'll find your wedding venue. It can be stressful trying to find the wedding location in a strange town, let alone finding two addresses. Having one wedding venue also makes it easier for guests who have difficulty getting around or finding transportation.
No one wants to think about bad weather happening the day of their wedding. However, Michigan weather can be unpredictable. If a freak snowstorm happens in the middle of April, you'll be happy that you and your guests will only have to travel to one location. Otherwise, you'll end up spending more time driving on bad roads.
If your wedding is taking place during the summer, you may be happy to avoid construction. Nothing is more frustrating than to have to follow detours to get to your wedding reception venue. If you have orange traffic cones lined up as far as the eye can see, you'll be grateful for having the wedding ceremony and reception at one venue. You also won't have to worry about being late for your own reception due to heavy traffic caused by construction and closed roads.
